Our Core Services
Load & Performance Testing
Nowadays functional testing on its own is not enough. Load and performance testing are recognised as an essential part of the development process. Today's systems are multi-tier distributed systems with web and web-service interfaces. They are subject to high and unpredictable levels of demand. Testing under representative load helps to avoid disasters when systems go live.
SQC has a small highly skilled and highly professional team able to manage and deliver demanding load testing requirements.

Automated Software Test Suites
Effective software test automation requires both detailed knowledge of the tools to be used and a systematic approach to the architecture, structure and implementation of the testware. Like any other software automated test suites must be designed. Many organisations have failed to achieve adequate results from test automation through failing to recognise this.
We have experience of a wide range of automated testing using both off the shelf tools and custom test harnesses. Our approaches address both functional testing and the use of load generation tools for assessing performance / resource utilisation and for targeting load and concurrency related failures. We have a unique structured approach to the design of functional test suites using a flexible test architecture. We have scripts, libraries and other custom tools that support the implementation of test suites using this architecture.

Project Assessment & Review
Independent assessment of a project's status provides executive management with the objective information on which to base key business decisions. Assessments can be performed on external suppliers as part of a contract and on in-house development projects to confirm and validate the local project management status accounting.
Assessment is applicable throughout a project's lifecycle. Early assessment can review the feasibility and risk of in project planning and definition activities. Subsequent assessment can address design status, implementation progress and system quality.
